These cartridges have been tested on both an original Commodore 64 and the Commodore 64 Ultimate and work on either machine.

Everyday C64 convenience

• Fast loading and saving: Speed up disk operations with supported drives and software.

• Game freezer: Interrupt a running program to access the cartridge’s freezer, inspection and backup functions, then resume where supported.

• Dedicated Reset button: Restart the C64 without switching its power off.

• Graphical desktop: Access disk operations, a calculator, Notepad, printer settings and other functions through a window-based interface.

• Diagnostics and display checks: 1541 ALPS TEST, 64 DOCTOR and MONITOR TEST.

• Cassette utilities: CASSETTE AZIMUTH and TURBO 250.

• Graphics and programming: LOGO EDITOR V1.2, SUPER SPRITER and SIMONS BASIC.

Whether you want to organize your disks, create sprites, experiment with extended BASIC or check vintage peripherals, the III+ puts these tools within easy reach. Individual utilities retain their own controls and hardware requirements; some are intended specifically for a 1541 drive or Datasette.

Updated operating software

This cartridge combines Final Cartridge III 101% Version 2 operating software with the FC3+ v4.1 Tools extension. The updated FC3 software brings improvements to the loaders, BASIC editor, monitor and freezer while retaining the III+ tool collection.
